Description
The 1600A sandwich busway is the “gold standard” in power distribution systems for industrial plants, commercial centers, and data centers. 1600A typically corresponds to the low-voltage output of 1000kVA – 1250kVA transformers and is the core link connecting the transformer to the low-voltage switchgear.
- Double-ended torque bolts are used. During on-site installation, simply use a standard wrench to tighten until the outer nut detaches, which indicates that the rated torque (usually 70-85 N·m) has been reached. This completely eliminates the risk of overheating at the connection point caused by manual under-tightening or over-tightening.
- H-class (180°C) or B-class (130°C) polyester film is used. These materials possess excellent electrical insulation strength and aging resistance, ensuring stability even under the temperature rise generated during full-load operation at 1600A.
- As the interface connecting the busbar to the low-voltage switchgear you manufacture, the 1600A terminal box is typically designed with thickened copper busbar connection surfaces and supports customized left or right cable exit directions based on the cabinet layout.
